The property in Belton, TX has been in our family for a number of years. We wanted to use the land in a way that could entertain, educate and bring families together for years to come. Having grown up on family farms, we maintained our passion for gardening throughout our lives and have an appreciation for how inspiring the land can be.
Conveniently growing along the side of what is now the winery building were big muscadine vines laden with berries. Muscadine (Vitis rotundifolia) is a native grape to the southeastern states in North America. It grows wild from the Atlantic coast through the state of Texas. It is believed that the juice of muscadine grapes was used by Native Americans and early Europeans and could be considered the first American wine. Though this is not one of the variety of grapes grown on BeeMaRosa vineyard, it was the inspiration that we were seeking.
In 2020, the foundation was laid for BeeMaRosa. We had researched and visited other wineries and vineyards across the state and the country. We spent time talking to viticulturists, vintners, owners of wineries and sommeliers. So, with motivation and hard work, accompanied with love and patience, we moved forward to get the land cleared. The trellis was installed and the nursery for the grape vines was identified. In April 2021, close to 1200 vines arrived from California and were planted at the vineyard. The irrigation system was installed, and with love and care, these “bare root stock” came to life and started their journey to becoming healthy vines.
We currently have four varieties of grapes on BeeMaRosa vineyard. Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon have proven to be successful in Central Texas, so these varieties were chosen along with Petite Sirah and Tannat. It is amazing how the soil and mineral content can influence the flavor of the wine along with our beautiful Central Texas weather, with its abundance of sunshine. We anticipate a very unique and flavorful wine.

BeeMaRosa is a beautiful boutique style, family friendly winery and vineyard located at 204 East Loop 121, in Belton, Texas across from the Bell County Exposition Center. We are at exit 292 on I-35 and close to I-14. We offer delicious wines, friendly service in a garden, parklike setting that encourages you to leave the stressors behind and to relax and appreciate nature, listening to the birds, stroll the vineyard, sit under a tree or on the patio while sipping your favorite glass of wine. If you prefer seating is available inside the winery which has a common area as well as 2 rooms, ideal for small groups. We offer tastings, wine by the glass or bottle. Reservation is not required but encouraged for large groups.
We do offer limited food items such as crackers and cheese platter and charcuterie boards. In the future we may add additional food items.

We are open for most Holidays but closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We welcome you with or without a reservation. However, we can better serve you if you are visiting with a large group if you make a reservation in advance.
Yes, we are kid friendly, but please supervise your children. They must stay with their group. We have a few games and outdoor activities which are available on a first come, first serve basis.

We offer limited food items such as cheese and crackers, fresh fruit and charcuterie boards.
No outside beer or alcohol is allowed according to TABC regulations.
We are smoke-free facility, including the patio and lawn.

BeeMaRosa Vineyard & Winery is conveniently located right at Exit 292 on Interstate 35 across from Bell County EXPO center in Belton, TX at the Intersection of I 35 and Loop 121. It is close to Temple, Killeen, Waco, Georgetown and Round Rock and a nice stop over when traveling between Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin/San Antonio.
